Japanese toy brand Prime 1 Studio, under its statue series "Ultimate Premium Master Line," will release a 1/4 scale collectible statue of the protagonist "Dante" from CAPCOM's renowned action game "Devil May Cry 3"! It is scheduled for release between November 2024 and February 2025.
"Devil May Cry 3" is a 3D action game released by CAPCOM in 2005 on the PS2 console, serving as the third title in the series. The story is set when protagonist Dante was young and had just opened his office. In addition to Dante, the characters appearing in this title include the female supporting character Lady, and Dante's brother Vergil. The story unfolds around the complex relationship between Dante and Vergil.
This Prime 1 Studio Dante statue is based on his appearance from "Devil May Cry 3," faithfully recreated as a 1/4 scale physical statue, standing approximately 67 cm tall. Dante's stylish red leather coat and black trousers, with his greatsword on his back and holding his two beloved pistols, "Ebony & Ivory," stands coolly on a special base sculpted in the form of a wind demon, showcasing his arrogant dominance. The head sculpt features two interchangeable expressions, and both the left and right hands also have two interchangeable options, allowing for poses holding dual pistols or the greatsword.
A statue of Vergil in the same scale is also planned for future release. Vergil's base will feature the flame demon of the demon brothers, and when displayed together, they will create an even more magnificent presence.
Additionally, this Dante statue also comes in a DX Bonus Edition. In addition to the contents of the Regular Edition, it includes an extra "shouting" expression for the head sculpt, and the interchangeable left and right hand parts are increased to four each, offering not only weapon-holding hands but also gesturing hand parts. A display stand with the "Devil May Cry 3" title logo is also included. The pre-order bonus is Dante's favorite pizza from the game, presented as an interchangeable hand part.
