Japanese gashapon toy manufacturer J.DREAM has collaborated with Japanese designer Michiru to transform their SNS-trending work into gashapon! Introducing the "Stone Stamp" gashapon, available in five designs, with a reference price of 300 JPY per capsule, scheduled for release in November 2023!
Japanese creator Michiru (@mitiruxxx), known for their expertise in various creative designs, unveiled the seemingly ordinary "Stone Stamp" on their personal Twitter. This design cleverly combines the habit of woodlice and pill bugs to hide under rocks, transforming the bottom of the stone into a stamp that produces cute little patterns, resonating with many. J.DREAM has now adapted this design into gashapon, reproducing the work in a size of approximately 6 cm, and featuring different stamp patterns including: pill bug, rolled-up pill bug, ant, ammonite, and mole. Relive the childhood joy of turning over rocks to find insects!
