Taiwanese designer toy brand Infinity Toy, adept at cross-industry collaborations, following their previous release of the Fly Demon sofubi with cartoonist Teacher Cao Shen, this time once again breaks through industry barriers, partnering with trendy betel nut stand – Baby Betel Nut, and toy designer KAI, known for their cute style, to jointly produce "Betel Nut Babies," a set comprising Green Betel Nut, Wrapped Betel Nut, and Gemini, which will be available for sale at betel nut stands in mid-August.

In recent years, the number of toys with Taiwanese local flavor themes has gradually increased, and painted toys with "betel nut" as a theme are no exception, though most are simply color variations. However, this time KAI didn't just create "betel nut color" paint variations, but directly used different types of betel nuts as the toy's main body, with adorable, innocent features and a plump, round physique, fully retaining KAI's distinctive style in its appearance, and the glow-in-the-dark green LOGO of Baby Betel Nut also brings to mind the eye-catching peacock lights at the entrance of betel nut stands.

This collaborative toy release not only features the betel nut stand's LOGO, but will also be sold directly at Baby Betel Nut stands. Each toy will also come with a traditional betel nut bag, full of local flavor, fully replicating the experience of actually buying betel nuts. The toy packaging's header card is also uniquely designed; in addition to its down-to-earth colors and font design, the spicy photo of Baby Betel Nut's "Xi Shi" (betel nut beauty) with the Betel Nut Babies is also a major highlight!

Another eye-catching feature is this time's limited edition, designed to match the evening lighting of Baby Betel Nut stands. Only six sets of this night-themed colorway – Peach Wind Treasure – will be released, and they are not for sale, only for giveaway. During the three-day sales event, five lucky winners will be drawn on-site at Baby Betel Nut at 6 PM each evening to receive them!

This collaboration isn't just about selling simple cute sofubi; the various contrasting impacts are very "clever," and combined with the Taiwanese local cultural experience, it injects new possibilities into collaborative projects, and presents the designer toy market to the public in a different way.
