Megahouse, a Japanese toy company, under its "Melty Princess" series, will release a new product based on the anime "Bocchi the Rock!": the "Palm-sized Hitori-chan" PVC painted finished figure! The suggested retail price is 7,700 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2024.
With the story theme of "Introverts should play rock," "Bocchi the Rock!" (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！) tells the tale of "Hitori Gotoh," a high school girl with severe social anxiety and a school outcast. From a young age, she diligently practiced guitar, hoping to gain attention from her classmates and become a rock star! However, her gloomy personality and inability to interact well with others prevented her dream of forming a band from coming true. She could only transform into "Guitar Hero" and upload guitar videos online, until her encounter with Nijika from Shimokitazawa High. Together with Ryo, Ikuyo, and others, she formed the "Kessoku Band," serving as the lead guitarist. Her bandmates affectionately nicknamed her "Bocchi."
The "Palm-sized Hitori-chan" PVC painted finished figure, at an approximate palm-sized 9 cm, brings Bocchi to life, curled up and squatting in a corner! She wears her signature pink tracksuit jacket and carries her beloved guitar on her back. Her long bangs partially obscure her eyes, revealing a gloomy expression that perfectly captures Bocchi's shy and socially anxious personality. Additionally, it includes interchangeable face parts that depict her social anxiety exploding into a comically distorted expression, faithfully recreating her signature "gan-e" (funny face) characteristic – exuding her unique "Bocchi" flavor!
