British toy company First 4 Figures, renowned for releasing a wide array of video game-themed character statues, is set to launch a stunning statue of DANTE, the protagonist from CAPCOM's exhilarating action game Devil May Cry 3, in Q3 2024! The statue will be priced at US$499.99.
Devil May Cry 3 is a 3D action game released by CAPCOM on the PS2 console in 2005, marking the third installment in the acclaimed series. The narrative is set during Dante's younger years, just as he establishes his demon-hunting agency. Alongside Dante, the game features the supporting character Lady and Dante's brother Vergil, with the plot primarily revolving around the complex and intense relationship between Dante and Vergil.
This Dante statue by First 4 Figures stands approximately 43 cm tall, meticulously capturing his iconic appearance from his Devil May Cry era. The design recreates a dynamic scene from his battle with the frozen three-headed hellhound, "Cerberus." The youthful Dante is depicted in his signature red leather jacket, unbuttoned to reveal his muscular physique, paired with brown trousers and black leather shoes. In a powerful pose, Dante wields his standard greatsword, with one foot confidently planted on a flying missile. The colossal spear impaling Cerberus is plunged into the ground, creating a dramatic ice pillar effect that forms a unique diorama base. The overall presentation exudes incredible dynamism.
In addition to the Standard Edition, this product is also available in a Collector's Edition and an Exclusive Edition. The Collector's Edition features embedded LED lights in the missile's exhaust and the base's ice effects, allowing them to illuminate for enhanced realism. Dante also comes with two interchangeable head sculpts.
Furthermore, the Exclusive Edition, beyond its LED lighting elements, includes additional interchangeable hand parts equipped with nunchaku and dual pistols. The base design is also transformed into an imposing frozen Cerberus head decoration, elevating the overall presence to an even more formidable level.
