Following the upcoming release of the Kamen Rider Faiz, the 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)' series, which is released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS and sculpts figures from the skeletal structure to accurately reproduce the physique of tokusatsu heroes' actors, today announced the latest product from 'Kamen Rider 555', the 'Horse Orphnoch', slated for release in March 2024.
In the story of 'Kamen Rider 555', some humans, after their physical death, do not perish but instead retain their memories and are reborn as evolved beings with powerful bodies and special abilities, known as 'Orphnochs', the monsters that appear in this work. They can maintain their original human appearance in peacetime, transforming into monster forms resembling animal or plant statues during combat. The Horse Orphnoch, released this time, is the evolved form of Yuji Kiba, the close friend and rival of Takumi Inui/Kamen Rider Faiz, possessing formidable combat abilities with a sword and shield.
The 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Horse Orphnoch' is produced based on the character's proportions from the show, featuring a more realistic, robust torso and limb sculpt compared to the older S.H.Figuarts version. From the double-layered head and the realistic horse-head armor on both shoulders to the rich geometric design carvings across the entire body, every detail is meticulously rendered. The three-dimensional gray paintwork further enhances its art-like appearance. The joints offer flexible articulation, allowing for various combat poses from the show to be recreated with the demonic sword and shield. Notably, the shield-holding hand also incorporates a new, more flexible articulation mechanism.
This product not only allows for displaying the Horse Orphnoch alongside the separately sold Kamen Rider Faiz to recreate their fated confrontation scenes, but also includes the 'FAIZ AXEL' enhanced equipment for Faiz, enabling the recreation of scenes where he prepares to transform into Accel Form!
