Japanese model manufacturer MEDICOM TOY's large-scale action figure series "RAH (REAL ACTION HEROES)" has announced its latest product based on the movie "Shin Kamen Rider", the "RAH Kamen Rider No. 2+1 (Shin Kamen Rider)", with a suggested retail price of 39,600 JPY, scheduled for release in May 2024!
The 50th-anniversary Kamen Rider commemorative work, "Shin Kamen Rider", directed by Hideaki Anno, is a reinterpretation of the original 1971 "Kamen Rider" and the fourth film in the "Shin Japan Heroes Universe" series. Featuring talented young actors Sosuke Ikematsu as the new generation Takeshi Hongo and Tasuku Emoto as Hayato Ichimonji, the film blends nostalgic elements with a modern style, allowing audiences to once again experience Kamen Rider No. 1 and No. 2 teaming up against the evil organization "SHOCKER".
The "RAH Kamen Rider No. 2+1 (Shin Kamen Rider)" stands approximately 30 cm tall, faithfully recreating Hayato after surviving the decisive battle with "Kamen Rider No. 0" and resolving to become a "true Kamen Rider". He is depicted wearing his newly modified helmet and the red scarf entrusted to him by Hongo before his death! Maintaining the series' style, intricate sculpting and rich color applications meticulously reproduce details such as the compound eyes and exposed hair. The leather suit utilizes highly durable synthetic leather, "Eternal Leather", achieving a realistic texture. It comes with a burnt helmet part, various interchangeable hand parts including a No. 1 and No. 2 handshake, and a thumbs-up gesture, allowing fans to recreate scenes from the film.
