The 『Nendoroid』 series, the chibi-style articulated figure line produced by Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, has announced the latest release from the healing manga ARIA: "Akari Mizunashi," scheduled for release in February 2024.
The protagonist, Akari Mizunashi, is a 15-year-old girl originally from Japan, Earth. Known for her honest, innocent, and dreamy personality—with a charming touch of airheadedness—she possesses an incredible affinity for opening people's hearts upon their first meeting. She easily becomes enchanted by beautiful things and often inadvertently utters "embarrassing lines" that leave others blushing. Driven by her admiration for the famous "Undine" (Gondolier) profession in Neo-Venezia, she traveled to the planet "Aqua" (formerly Mars) and joined the renowned ARIA Company, becoming a "Water Fairy" who guides tourists through the city of water.
"Nendoroid Akari Mizunashi" captures Akari in her ARIA Company uniform from her days as a "Pair" (apprentice), rendered in adorable chibi proportions. The details of her outfit—including the beret, the flow of her dress hem, and her single glove—are meticulously crafted alongside her signature side-locks. She comes with three interchangeable face plates: a "Standard face," a "Smiling face," and her iconic "Eeeh face" for when she utters her famous catchphrase. Accessories include the adorable "President Aria" and her "Oar," allowing fans to recreate various scenes such as holding the oar, cuddling the President, or posing with her hat removed!
