Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY, under its popular "Nendoroid" series which boasts over a thousand different products, will release its latest item, "Nendoroid Toothless," based on the popular 3D animated film "How to Train Your Dragon." The suggested retail price is 8,900 JPY, with an anticipated release in April 2024.
The fantasy 3D computer-animated film "How to Train Your Dragon," produced by DreamWorks Animation, gained widespread popularity for its fictional Viking world and thrilling dragon battles, with a total of three films in the series. The story is set on the island of Berk, where Vikings must fight dragons to survive, and young Vikings aim to become "dragon slayers" as part of their training. In an unexpected turn of events, the protagonist Hiccup captures the legendary and extremely dangerous "Night Fury," gradually establishing communication with the dragon. Hiccup names it "Toothless" and discovers that mutual understanding and taming, rather than relentless hunting, are the true solutions to their problems, bringing genuine peace.
The "Nendoroid Toothless" recreates the jet-black Toothless in adorable Q-version specifications~ In addition to its big, watery eyes, the unique texture of its dragon skin, scales, and distinctive tail fin are all charmingly reproduced! It comes with three interchangeable face plates: "Innocent Face," "Angry Face," and "Smiling Face," all super cute whether it's sticking out its tongue or showing a mouthful of sharp teeth~ Pair it with its wings (Flying Ver.), its favorite fish, and the ethereal blue plasma blast effect that accompanies acetylene and oxygen, to enjoy various adorable, cat-like scenarios!
