Japan's KOTOBUKIYA toy company, under its "ARTFX J" series which creates exquisite three-dimensional figures of Japanese anime and game characters, is releasing its latest product, the "ARTFX J Yuzuriha" 1/8 scale figure, based on the popular anime series "Hell's Paradise"! The suggested retail price is 19,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2024.
"Yuzuriha," a female character appearing in the manga series "Hell's Paradise (Jigokuraku)" created by Japanese manga artist Yuji Kaku, is known as "Yuzuriha of the Keishu" and is a nimble kunoichi (female ninja). She is one of the death row convicts, along with Gabimaru, sent to the island of Kotaku to search for the elixir of immortality, with Senta as her monitor.
The "ARTFX J Yuzuriha" 1/8 scale figure, approximately 18 cm tall, brings Yuzuriha's imposing and bold ninja attire to life in a battle-ready pose, leaning forward as if facing an enemy (?). The slits on her chest and thighs reveal her soft, graceful body lines and side breast! Folds are realistically sculpted according to her movement, and shadow painting enhances the overall three-dimensionality. Small items such as her hair ornament, sword, and waist tools are also exquisitely crafted. The base, with its small patch of greenery and fresh flowers, expresses the world view of the series!
