Japanese toy company Kotobukiya's Shunya Yamashita BISHOUJO figure brand, in collaboration with Hasbro and Takara Tomy, jointly launched the "TRANSFORMERS BISHOUJO" series based on the Transformers theme. Following "Megatron", the latest "Starscream" 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure will also make its debut! The suggested retail price is 18,700 JPY, with an estimated release in April 2024.
Illustrator "Shunya Yamashita (山下しゅんや)", known for combining popular elements with his personal style to depict feminine charm, enjoys high popularity both in Japan and abroad, actively involved in illustration design and original artwork for games and toy figures. His BISHOUJO characters are full of unique charm and sexiness, reinterpreting character styles with different appearances, exuding an indescribably captivating aura.
The Decepticon Air Commander, "TRANSFORMERS BISHOUJO Starscream" 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure, stands approximately 21.5 cm tall. Based on Shunya Yamashita's illustration, transforming the tough machine into a beautiful girl, she is designed as a brown-skinned, short-haired girl wearing a jet pilot's uniform, referencing the incredibly nostalgic color scheme from the original G1 "Transformers" cartoon. With an ambitious and cunning smile on her face, she exudes great presence! The wings on her back are designed as a sports bag, carried behind her in a way that suggests she could transform into a jet fighter at any moment! Displaying her alongside Megatron will create an even greater impact!
