Japan's Bandai Toy Company's GASHAPON capsule toy brand, which issues the "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE" series of "Mobile Suit Gundam" heavy equipment X ensemble capsule toys characterized by shared connection points and infinite customization, today announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury," the "EX47 Gundam Calibarn (DX Ver.)," scheduled for release in December 2023.
The X-EX01 Gundam Calibarn is a mobile suit that was seized and sealed by the Space Assembly League 21 years ago during the Vanadis Incident. It is equipped with a propulsive long-range rifle resembling a witch's broom. Because this unit lacks a Data Storm filter and completely disregards pilot safety, it is still called a "monster" despite its superior performance. Even though Suletta's body is a clone of the chosen one, Ericht, she still needs to overcome Permet Score 5 to barely fight.
The "MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE EX47 Gundam Calibarn (DX Ver.)" recreates the Gundam Calibarn's final battle form with a low-head-to-body ratio, standing approximately 6.5 cm tall. The entire white armor uses a glossy pearl white molding color, while the head antenna and the rainbow glow on the chest are reproduced with clear parts and stickers. The limbs feature simple movable joint designs.
Its armaments include the 9.6 cm long "Propulsive Long-Range Rifle" and 11 GUND-Bits inherited from the Aerial Gundam. The four distinctive thrusters at the rifle's tail each feature movable mechanisms. The 11 GUND-Bits can not only form a shield but also combine with the Gundam Calibarn's main body to recreate the "Bit on Form." The accessories also include a clear display stand that can suspend the 11 GUND-Bit parts, recreating their flight state as funnels!
