Bandai Co., Ltd. (Japan) today announced the latest product from the adult-oriented Kamen Rider belt series, "COMPLETE SELECTION MODIFICATION," the "FAIZ EDGE" from "Kamen Rider 555," scheduled for release in February 2024.
The FAIZ EDGE is Kamen Rider FAIZ's exclusive sword-type weapon. Normally mounted on the left handlebar of his exclusive motorcycle, Autovajin, it deploys a blade formed from Photon Blood after being drawn and having the Mission Memory inserted. The blade's output can be adjusted to four different intensity levels. FAIZ can also use this weapon to activate his finishing move, "Sparkle Cut," forming a powerful energy wave, like a sword beam, to deliver a strong slash against enemies.
The "CSM FAIZ EDGE" main unit measures approximately 82 cm in length. Both the motorcycle handlebar-shaped hilt and the blade composed of transparent red parts perfectly recreate their in-show appearance, and are finished with a paint application that gives a heavy metallic feel. Furthermore, the blade incorporates a light-up mechanism with as many as 44 LED lights. When combined with the included Mission Memory and the activation button is pressed, it will illuminate the blade with a cool red glow, and play activation sounds, slashing sounds, finishing move sounds, and famous lines from Takumi Inui (portrayed by Kento Handa)!
This product can also wirelessly link with the separately sold "CSM FAIZ GEAR ver.2" and "CSM FAIZ GEAR & FAIZ AXEL ver.2" belts to recreate charging sounds, accelerated slashing sounds, and more when performing the "Sparkle Cut" finishing move. Furthermore, the projector included in the belt set will project the "Φ symbol" according to the finishing move's activation sequence, recreating the cool scene from the show where it's imprinted on the enemy after completion!
