BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from its popular Shokugan series 'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA': the "Z Gundam (Bio-Sensor Activated Ver.)" from "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam", scheduled for release in December 2023.
The MSZ-006 Z Gundam is a next-generation transformable MS developed by the AEUG after acquiring the Titans' newly manufactured "RX-178 Gundam MK-II" and utilizing its movable frame technology. It features highly rigid and lightweight armor made of Gundarium γ alloy and is equipped with a rich arsenal including beam rifles, beam sabers, and grenade launchers with multiple warhead types. It also incorporates a simplified psycommu device, the "Bio-Sensor," which allows Newtype pilots to enhance the mobile suit's performance through their brainwaves. When fully activated, it can generate incredible powers such as strengthening beam weapons, forming shields, and even disabling enemy mobile suits.
The "G-FRAME FA Z Gundam (Bio-Sensor Activated Ver.)" is a modified version of the standard Z Gundam released in the third wave. Its body and weaponry have been retooled with metallic molding and red-toned paintwork to recreate its appearance during the decisive battle with The O, when its "Bio-Sensor" was activated and enveloped in red light. The armaments include a beam rifle, shield, beam saber, and Hyper Mega Launcher, along with beam saber effects. In addition to the original straight beam blade effect, a curved beam and a massive 25 cm long beam blade have been added, allowing for the recreation of iconic and powerful scenes from the series with the included dedicated stand!
