KADOKAWA's (Japan) toy brand "KDcolle (KADOKAWA Collection)" is set to release its latest product based on the popular TV anime "A Certain Scientific Railgun T": the "Misaka Mikoto Hooded☆Look Gekota ver." 1/7 scale PVC painted finished figure. The suggested retail price is 21,450 JPY, with an anticipated release in February 2024.
The Railgun of Tokiwadai Middle School, Misaka Mikoto, is one of the main characters appearing in Kazuma Kamachi's original work "A Certain Magical Index" and Motoi Fuyukawa's manga adaptation. She is the protagonist in the spin-off "A Certain Scientific Railgun" and the TV anime "A Certain Scientific Railgun T". As Academy City's strongest Electromaster, Misaka Mikoto ranks third among the only seven Level 5 espers. Her competitive spirit, strong sense of justice, coupled with her cute appearance and excellent academic performance, make her an idol among her schoolmates, even earning her the respectful title of "Misaka-sama"!
The "Misaka Mikoto Hooded☆Look Gekota ver." 1/7 scale PVC painted finished figure is based on a specially drawn illustration, bringing the 'Railgun' (Misaka Mikoto) to life wearing a "Gekota" hooded cape! Standing approximately 16 cm tall, the figure features a sleepy expression and an adorable kneeling pose. In addition to the Gekota hood, there are Gekota over-the-knee socks, a Gekota plushie in her hand, and a Gekota rug – a full complement of Gekota! Furthermore, her underwear also features Gekota-matching green stripes... To allow fans to fully appreciate the details, the hood is designed to be removable! With interchangeable parts, you can display her in a pose revealing her youthful physique after removing the cape, along with a vibrant smile and holding the Gekota plushie. Two versions of Mikoto in one figure – truly irresistible!
