Hirohiko Araki's manga work "Rohan Kishibe at the Louvre" (岸辺露伴 ルーヴルへ行く) is a spin-off created in 2009 as part of the "BD Louvre" cross-cultural manga collaboration project with the Louvre Museum in France. The story tells of Rohan Kishibe, a manga artist who stops at nothing for his research. In the summer of his 17th year, while creating a submission for a manga newcomer award, he met the beautiful young woman "Nanase Fujikura" and learned that the Louvre Museum housed "the darkest, most evil painting in the world," painted with the darkest pigment on Earth... Ten years later, Rohan, now a famous manga artist, travels to Paris with his editor Kyoka Izumi to uncover the secret of this dark painting.
▼ The live-action movie adaptation "Rohan Kishibe at the Louvre" stars Issey Takahashi and Marie Iitoyo.
The "S.H.Figuarts Rohan Kishibe (Movie 'Rohan Kishibe at the Louvre')" action figure stands approximately 15 cm tall. Under the joint supervision of the movie production staff and Issey Takahashi, the actor portraying Rohan, Issey Takahashi's facial features are realistically reproduced using CG scanning.
