Japan's GOODSMILE COMPANY's assembly model kit series, "MODEROID," will release the third item in the "Ryu-Knight Collection Series" from the 1994 anime series "Lord of Lords Ryu-Knight" in February 2024: Hayatemaru & Dellinger! The price will be 6,900 JPY.
"Lord of Lords Ryu-Knight" (覇王大系リューナイト) is an anime produced by SUNRISE, broadcast on TV Tokyo in 1994, with a total of 52 episodes. Three OVA works were subsequently released. The story follows the protagonist, Adeu (アデュー), an apprentice knight who constantly speaks of chivalry and is traveling to become a true knight. He possesses the ability to summon "Ryu-Knights" with cards. During his journey, he meets Paffy (パッフィー) and others who are also heading to Astelia, and the group decides to travel together, thus beginning their adventure.
The "Ryu-Knight Collection Series" (リューナイトコレクション) released by MODEROID now presents its third installment. It includes two mechs: the Ryu-Samurai "Hayatemaru," piloted by the samurai Gesshin, and the Ryu-Gunner "Dellinger," piloted by the elf girl Katz. Their heights are approximately 10 cm and 9 cm, respectively. Both mechs are faithfully recreated from their original appearances in the series, featuring articulated joints throughout the body. Details are reproduced through separate parts, clear parts, and stickers. Hayatemaru comes with two swords (long and short) and a gun, while Dellinger is equipped with a shotgun and two revolvers. Both also include the magic cards used for summoning.
