S.H.Figuarts×ROBOT魂 'DARLING in the FRANXX 5th Anniversary Set' Strelizia and 02 Return as Special Editions!

TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., has announced a new product to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the anime "DARLING in the FRANXX": the "S.H.Figuarts×ROBOT魂 DARLING in the FRANXX 5th Anniversary Set," with a suggested retail price of 15,950 JPY, scheduled for release in February 2024!

"DARLING in the FRANXX" (ダーリン・イン・ザ・フランキス) is an original Japanese mecha anime co-produced by TRIGGER and A-1 Pictures. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has overdeveloped and Earth's resources are depleted. Surviving humans pilot giant humanoid combat mechs called "FranXX" to fight against the "Klaxosaurs," threats attracted by the extraction of the new energy source "Magma Energy." The male protagonist, Hiro, becomes unable to pilot a FranXX after a failure and loses his will to live, until he meets the mysterious female protagonist, "Zero Two (02)," and partners with her to fight together.

To commemorate the fifth anniversary of the "Darling in the FranXX" anime, the previously released "ROBOT魂 Strelizia" and "S.H.Figuarts 02" are being re-released as a special edition set! Strelizia's white armor features new parts to achieve a luxurious glossy finish; the red parts have been replaced with a pearlescent red, offering a distinct texture. Additionally, 02 features newly sculpted interchangeable facial expressions, and an impressive bleeding face from the series has been added. With a total of four interchangeable faces, you can more vividly recreate various scenes!
