Following the release of "Ai," KDcolle, the figure brand under Japan's KADOKAWA Corporation, is once again launching a new product based on the TV anime "Oshi no Ko": the "Ruby" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 21,780 JPY and is scheduled for release in May 2024!
Ruby (ルビー / Hoshino Ruby), the protagonist from the Japanese manga "【Oshi no Ko】," whose real name is Hoshino Ruby, is the fraternal twin daughter of popular idol Hoshino Ai and the twin sister of Aqua. In her previous life, she was a patient cared for by Gorou, who passed away at the young age of 12 due to a serious illness. After reincarnation, she became the daughter of her favorite idol. Retaining her past life's memories, she was exceptionally precocious from infancy and aspired to become an idol since childhood. After entering the performing arts department in high school, she formed the idol group "New B-Komachi" with Kana Arima and MEM-Cho, inheriting her mother's legacy.
The "KDcolle Ruby" 1/7 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 22.5 cm tall. Based on New B-Komachi's debut stage outfit, it sculpts Ruby's sparkling appearance on stage! Her left eye faithfully recreates the hexagonal star pupil inherited from Ai, and her energetic, perfect smile is also adorably reproduced. The Gothic-style performance costume is rich in detail, with its multi-layered design, ruffles, and wrinkles that follow her movements all meticulously sculpted. Her raised leg pose reveals charming, youthful thigh lines. Let Ruby become your favorite idol!
Additionally, a limited edition version will include an interchangeable winking face part. Sales information will be announced at a later date.
