BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan (Candy Toy) division of Bandai Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from their popular 'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA' series, the "High Mobility Kampfer," originating from "Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE," scheduled for release in January 2024.
The High Mobility Kampfer is an original new mobile suit that appears in the mobile game "Mobile Suit Gundam U.C. ENGAGE." Its setting places it in Universal Century 0082, after the One Year War, where Zeon remnants modified the Kampfer F-type into a high-mobility specification. Utilizing prototype parts used by Anaheim Electronics in the Gundam Development Project, three thruster units of the same type as the "Gerbera Tetra" were added to the Kampfer, significantly enhancing its mobility in space. It is also equipped with a beam rifle of the same specifications as the "Gelgoog M Fs type." The Zeon remnants deployed this unit with their lunar terrorist squad, and during this period, it engaged in combat with the Gundam Development Test Unit 0.
The "G-FRAME FA High Mobility Kampfer" has been thoroughly supervised by mechanical designer Sushi-sensei. It is a modification of the previously released standard Kampfer, retaining its flexible movable frame design. A large number of newly sculpted parts are used to create characteristic areas such as the shoulders, front skirt armor, legs, and thruster units, faithfully reproducing the purple-toned armor and the orange inside the thruster nozzles.
Accessories include a beam rifle, beam saber, and the Mine Whip, which can reproduce both stored and deployed states. It even includes a new original weapon designed by Sushi-sensei for this product, the "Beam Rifle Special Type," as well as the Giant Bazooka, Shotgun, and Sturm Faust used by the standard Kampfer, allowing for the creation of a toy-exclusive heavy armament form.
