Today, TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., announced the latest product from the 'METAL ROBOT SPIRITS' series, which combines metallic texture painting and an alloy frame, "Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] (Combat Deployment Color) & Optional Parts Set", originating from the side story "ADVANCE OF Ζ: The Flag of Titans" of "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam", is scheduled for release in April 2024.

In Universal Century 0083, as the Zeon remnants' "Delaz Fleet" caused a colony drop, plunging Earth into panic, the radical Earth Federation Forces organization "Titans" was born. With the goal of "annihilating Zeon remnants," they proposed an MS/MA development plan, the "TR Project." Its primary objective was to develop the ultimate, most versatile large-scale decisive weapon, the Gundam TR-6 [Woundwort], capable of extensive customization with optional parts, and to integrate all Earth Federation Forces' mobile weapons into the "TR-6" series. Among these, the first experimental unit developed in 0084, the "Gundam TR-1 [Hazel]," possessed high versatility and expandability. After being heavily damaged in combat with Zeon remnant forces, it was repaired with numerous new parts, becoming the even more powerful Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom].

The "METAL ROBOT SPIRITS Gundam TR-1 [Hazel Custom] (Combat Deployment Color) & Optional Parts Set" is a modified version of the previously released standard edition. Its internal movable frame is also constructed with a large number of alloy parts, ensuring both robustness and a flexible range of motion. However, the exterior armor has been repainted with the distinctive blue-black combat colors of the Titans, and the T3 unit's insignia is printed in various locations on the fuselage, showcasing intricate details and a substantial metallic feel.

Other contents remain the same as the standard edition. In addition to the beam rifle, shield, and three beam sabers, the shoulder grenade launcher and side skirt energy magazines can be reproduced with interchangeable parts. The optional parts set further includes three "Shield Boosters" and a "Sub-Arm Unit" mounted on the front skirt. The sub-arm unit can deploy two sub-arms, left and right, to equip beam sabers. The three Shield Boosters can be mounted on the backpack and both arms respectively, and by replacing the shoulder parts with arm-fixing grips, the powerful high-mobility form can be recreated.
