GOOD SMILE COMPANY of Japan's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" is releasing the "POP UP PARADE Hitori Gotoh" PVC figure, based on the popular anime "Bocchi the Rock!" The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in April 2024!
"Bocchi the Rock!" (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！), with its story centered on "Introverts should play rock," tells the tale of "Hitori Gotoh," a high school girl with severe social anxiety and a school outcast. From a young age, she diligently practiced guitar, hoping to gain attention from her classmates and become a rock star! However, her gloomy personality and inability to interact with others prevented her dream of forming a band from coming true. She could only transform into "Guitar Hero" and upload guitar videos online until she met Nijika from Shimokitazawa High School. Together with Ryo, Ikuyo, and others, they formed the "Kessoku Band," where she serves as the lead guitarist. Her bandmates affectionately nicknamed her "Bocchi."
The "POP UP PARADE Hitori Gotoh" PVC figure is based on the scene where Bocchi, before a live performance, discovers her fans braving a typhoon to support her, causing her to literally ✝ascend✝ on the spot! Standing approximately 19.5 cm tall, the figure faithfully recreates angelic Bocchi, complete with wings and a halo. She is dressed in the Kessoku Band's band T-shirt and a school uniform skirt, elegantly bidding farewell to the world. In addition to the chibi-style overwhelmed expression, it even includes a beautiful, aesthetic interchangeable head sculpt! Quickly add Bocchi to your angel collection!
