GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" from Japan is releasing "POP UP PARADE Komi Shoko" and "POP UP PARADE Komi Shoko Limited Ver." PVC figures, based on the popular series "Komi Can't Communicate." Each will have a suggested retail price of 4,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2024!
Created by Japanese manga artist Tomohito Oda, "Komi Can't Communicate" tells the story of the popular beautiful girl, Shoko Komi, who possesses angelic beauty, excellent academics, and outstanding athletic ability, but is unable to speak due to a communication disorder. After her classmate Hitohito Tadano learns of her situation, he volunteers to help Komi achieve her dream of making 100 friends.
The "POP UP PARADE Komi Shoko" PVC figure stands approximately 17.5 cm tall, bringing to life Komi-san in a maid outfit with her dark hair flowing in the wind. Her fair skin, elegant phoenix eyes, and subtle expression convey a delicate aura, while the ruffles of her maid outfit are meticulously recreated. Additionally, the "POP UP PARADE Komi Shoko Limited Ver." PVC figure features a cute, chibi-style expression, transforming her into an adorable cat-like state! Her hands are also changed to a pose where she is communicating with a notebook.
