Japanese soft vinyl toy manufacturer NEO PLAYER ONE (Neo Player One Co., Ltd.), after releasing "Caiman," the fairy "Gyoza Man," and various color versions based on "Dorohedoro," recently unveiled a new character from the series: the "Shin Standard Version (スタンダードver.)" soft vinyl toy! It is scheduled for pre-sale at DOROCON (10/28-10/29).
The manga series "Dorohedoro," drawn by Japanese manga artist "Q Hayashida," is set in two coexisting worlds: "The Hole," inhabited by ordinary people, and the world where sorcerers—beings created by the devil Chidaruma—reside. Sorcerers, aspiring to become devils, often use humans as subjects for practicing their magic. The protagonist, Caiman (カイマン), is one such victim of magic, whose head was transformed into a lizard and who lost his memories. To regain his human face and forgotten memories, he embarks on a sorcerer hunt with his companion Nikaido.
This time's protagonist, "Shin," is a hitman under "En," the boss of the magic world. Although a powerful sorcerer, he prefers engaging in bloody close-quarters combat with enemies, wielding a hammer! This figure faithfully reproduces Shin's black suit, white sneakers, and one of his signature features: the inverted heart-shaped mask. From the surface texture of the mask, the wrinkles of the suit, the stitched marks on his fingers, to the hammer in his hand, all exhibit excellent detail. We look forward to NEO PLAYER ONE's future announcements.
