Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE has announced today that the latest product in its "Ultimate Article" series, which features large-scale figures with sound and light mechanisms, will be "Kamen Rider KAIXA" from "Kamen Rider 555," scheduled for release in March 2024.
In the series, Kamen Rider KAIXA, transformed using the KAIXA DRIVER, is an enhanced combat suit specifically created for Orphnochs or those affected by the Orphnoch mark, with yellow Photon Blood flowing throughout its body. Compared to FAIZ, which prioritizes stability, KAIXA possesses greater power but is also more difficult to control. Most users, with the exception of Masato Kusaka, turned to ash and died immediately after transforming just once, earning it the moniker "the cursed belt."
The "Ultimate Article Kamen Rider KAIXA" stands at an impressive 40 cm tall, capturing a cool battle pose. It utilizes various materials and paint applications to meticulously recreate details such as the helmet's intricate patterns, the metallic texture of the belt, and the yellow Photon Blood flowing throughout the body and weapon system. The Photon Frames on its body, which are double the number of FAIZ's, are coated with phosphorescent paint, allowing them to glow in the dark. The right arm can also be posed in two ways by swapping parts, recreating the "Kaixa Blaygun" in both gun and blade modes.
Furthermore, this statue features rich sound and light mechanisms, with LED lights embedded in both the head and the blade. By activating and switching the controls on the base, you can enjoy cool transformation and special move sequences. In Mode 1, it emits original transformation sound effects accompanied by the head lighting up. In Mode 2, it produces a charging sound effect with the blade flashing, followed by the "Kaixa Slash" special move's slashing sound effect!
