The popular die-cast toy series 'METAL BUILD', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., today announced the latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY HD Remaster', the 'Ootori Striker Pack', scheduled for release in March 2024.
The 'EW454F Ootori Striker Pack', a newly designed Striker Pack from 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY HD Remaster', is an integrated equipment unit re-designed based on the I.W.S.P. pack. It combines the features of multiple Striker Packs, boasting high-output propulsion wings for atmospheric flight, and equipped with a large anti-ship sword, railgun, beam cannon, missile launchers, and other armaments capable of adapting to various terrains and combat situations. It can be equipped by series mobile suits such as the Strike Gundam and Strike Rouge, enhancing their performance.
The 'METAL BUILD Ootori Striker Pack' will be sold separately, having previously been included with the 'Strike Rouge + Ootori Striker Pack'. It faithfully recreates the sleek, sharp wing design and the missiles mounted on various sections. The beam cannon and railgun can be deployed forward. In addition to the original beam blade, the 'Large Anti-Ship Sword' armament can be swapped with a METAL BUILD series original physical blade.
Furthermore, the Ootori Striker Pack features an original linking mechanism, allowing it to be equipped not only by METAL BUILD Strike Gundam series mobile suits but also by Astray Gundam series mobile suits. It can also link with separately sold Aile, Sword, and Launcher Striker Packs, creating an original 4-in-1 specification that surpasses the Perfect Strike, enabling the mobile suit to simultaneously carry a vast array of armaments!
