GOODSMILE COMPANY's 'Nendoroid' series, featuring over a thousand types of articulated figures, will release the 'Nendoroid Huggy Wuggy' articulated figure from the horror game 《Poppy Playtime》. It will retail for 8,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2024!
Developed by American studio MOB Games, the survival horror game 《Poppy Playtime 波比的遊戲時間》 casts players as a former employee returning to an abandoned toy factory. However, the factory is overrun with hostile, murderous toy monsters... The game's main antagonist, Huggy Wuggy, is a terrifying monster standing 300 cm tall, resembling a blue plush bear with a gaping maw full of sharp teeth.
The 'Nendoroid Huggy Wuggy' articulated figure is slightly larger than a standard Nendoroid, standing approximately 12 cm tall, to convey Huggy Wuggy's imposing stature. It adorably (?) recreates Huggy Wuggy's protruding, vacant eyes and fluffy, plush texture. It comes with two interchangeable face plates: a gentle 'smiling face' and a terrifying 'horror face' with bared teeth. Additional accessories include a 'Playtime CO. sign' from the toy factory and a small Huggy Wuggy plushie. With various interchangeable hand parts, you can fully enjoy the terrifying yet somewhat cute Huggy Wuggy!
Furthermore, pre-orders placed through the GOODSMILE ONLINE SHOP will include a special circular base as a bonus!
