PLEX Co., Ltd. (株式会社プレックス) of Japan, in collaboration with Azone, has launched their latest product, the "Bamboo Art wa-gu-mi RX-78-2 Gundam" craft puzzle. With a reference price of 10,000 JPY, it is currently available for pre-order on Premium Bandai Japan and is scheduled for release in November 2023.
The "wa-gu-mi" series, high-quality bamboo crafts themed with traditional Japanese patterns, are eco-friendly products made from bamboo. Combining traditional Japanese design with precisely laser-cut parts, they can be easily assembled without the need for tools or adhesives. The "Bamboo Art wa-gu-mi RX-78-2 Gundam" craft puzzle is composed of 421 bamboo board parts, each 2 mm thick. Once assembled, it stands approximately 27 cm tall, precisely showcasing Gundam's intricate mechanical details, along with beautiful Japanese bamboo textures, offering a new style that embodies the tranquility of Japanese aesthetics!
