Released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., the 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou)' series, which sculpts from the skeletal structure to give tokusatsu heroes their original cool appearance and natural articulation, has announced that the latest product from 'Kamen Rider KIVA', 'Kamen Rider SAGA', is scheduled for release in June 2024.
Kamen Rider SAGA is a Rider transformed by Taiga Nobori, the protagonist Wataru Kurenai's paternal half-brother and the 'KING', using the Armor of Fate. This armor was born to protect the Fangire King, housing the power of the serpentine artificial lifeform 'Sagarc', and can attack using the 'Sagarc Whip', a sword-whip weapon that can freely transform. Although its creation predates both KIVA armors by a significant margin and it lacks a strengthened form, it possesses combat capabilities on par with Emperor KIVA.
The 'S.H.Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider SAGA' is produced as a fully articulated figure approximately 14.5 cm tall. It not only faithfully recreates the realistic body proportions from the show, but also utilizes rich metallic paintwork to reproduce the Emperor Stone on the forehead and chest, as well as the stained-glass-like chest armor. The central part of the belt also features Sagarc's eyes and mouth, which can be detached for separate display. Accessories include 4 types of left and 3 types of right interchangeable hand parts, the Wake Up Fuestle used for special moves, and the exclusive weapon 'Sagarc Whip', which can be switched between rod mode and whip mode. The whip mode of the Sagarc Whip is made with an internal metal wire, allowing for free posing.
