Japan's renowned toy company MEDICOM TOY has announced the latest MARVEL-themed product in its 6-inch action figure series "MAFEX": "DAREDEVIL COMIC Ver."! It is scheduled for release in September 2024.
Daredevil, whose real name is "Matt Murdock," became blind due to an accident in his childhood, but his other senses were enhanced as a result. After Matt's father was shot dead by the mob for refusing to throw a fight, wanting to make his son proud, Matt resolved to fight evil and protect his beloved city, "Hell's Kitchen." As an adult, Matt and his friend Foggy opened the "Nelson & Murdock Law Office." By day, he is a lawyer proficient in law; by night, he transforms into Daredevil, listening to every corner of the city and punishing crime.
The "MAFEX DAREDEVIL COMIC Ver." stands approximately 16 cm tall, faithfully recreating his red bodysuit and horned eye-mask from the comics. The interlocking double 'D' logo on his chest is also meticulously reproduced, with brighter red paint applied to the gloves, boots, and belt to add depth. The muscle definition beneath the bodysuit is also excellently sculpted. The head sculpts include three expressions: neutral, gritting teeth, and shouting. Accessories also include various forms of his billy club weapon!
