The popular alloy toy series "Chogokin Damashii" from TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectors' toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has announced its latest product from "Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann": the "GX-107 Fully Transformable Gurren Lagann & Giga Drill Spin Set". It has a suggested retail price of 39,600 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2024!
The giant robot "Gurren Lagann", formed by the combination of "Lagann" piloted by protagonist Simon and "Gurren" piloted by Kamina, differs from the typical concept of robot combination. Gurren Lagann harnesses Simon's "Spiral Power" to unleash equivalent abilities, continuously evolving with Simon's fighting spirit and mental growth. Drills can extend from various parts of its body to attack enemies, and the large drill on its right arm can unleash the devastating "Giga Drill Break".
The long-awaited "GX-107 Fully Transformable Gurren Lagann & Giga Drill Spin Set" has finally been officially unveiled. Through transformation, its limbs extend to perfectly capture Gurren Lagann's proportions. Its unique post-combination appearance, the face on its armor, and the cockpit in its abdomen are all meticulously reproduced. It can also separate into the uncombined "Gurren" and "Lagann" units. Furthermore, it includes a giant drill accessory equipped with a rotation mechanism, allowing fans to classicly recreate the iconic special move "Giga Drill Break" by turning its gears!
Includes mini figures of Simon and Kamina (Note: Kamina cannot be removed from the cockpit.)
In addition, accessories include various weapon parts such as Gurren Wing, boomerangs, and regular drills, along with interchangeable wrist parts, allowing for the recreation of the "Full Drillize" attack, where drills shoot from its entire body, and dynamic battle poses!
"If you're going to dig, dig to pierce the heavens! Even if it's a grave, break through the obstacles! Once you've broken through, you've won!"
