Japan's MAX FACTORY toy company (株式会社マックスファクトリー)'s popular action figure series "figma" will release its latest product, "figma Makima," based on the hugely popular anime "Chainsaw Man." The suggested retail price is 11,000 Japanese Yen, and it is scheduled for release in August 2024!
Makima (マキマ) is the protagonist Denji's superior, a devil hunter directly under the Cabinet Chief Secretary. Her personality is elusive, and her background is quite mysterious. While hunting zombie devils in her daily routine, she discovered Denji and used an embrace to revert the devil-transformed Denji back to his original form, recruiting him into the Public Safety Devil Hunters. This caused Denji to fall deeply for her. Although she appears gentle, she is in fact a cold-blooded individual who refers to her subordinates as "dogs" and has no qualms about sacrificing them.
The "figma Makima" action figure stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully recreating Makima's signature shirt uniform, distinctive pink braided long hair, and ringed eye design. It comes with three interchangeable face plates: a mysterious "smiling face," a forced "grinning face" that doesn't quite reach her eyes, and an "expressionless face" that shows little difference. Paired with "posture hands" for various gestures, a "lollipop" with the taste of a first kiss, and a "beer mug" for endless drinking, you can enjoy Makima in various scenarios. Additionally, a "sitting lower body" is included, allowing for the recreation of her signature crossed-leg sitting pose!
