World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently announced the latest product from the Star Wars series "Ahsoka": the "Ahsoka Tano" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Expected to ship in Q4 2024 ~ Q1 2025.
This figure stands approximately 28.5 cm tall and features 28 points of articulation. It is designed based on her appearance after her defeat in the duel with Baylan and her encounter with her master Anakin in the World Between Worlds, faithfully recreating her Jedi attire primarily in gray and white tones. The costume is meticulously crafted from cotton and linen fabrics, enhanced with screen-printing technology, arm and shin guards, beaded accessories on her belt, and a detachable white cloak, among other details, significantly elevating the overall sense of layering. The bronze-skinned upper body, with exposed arms, features a seamless rubberized design, which not only conceals the joints but also allows for full articulation and shaping of the arm lines. Coupled with a new joint design, the range of motion is further expanded.
The head sculpt is exceptionally well-executed. It not only perfectly captures the likeness of actress Rosario Dawson in the series but also features rolling eyeballs for both neutral and angry expressions. Furthermore, the Togruta's distinctive facial markings and the blue and white striped Lekku (head-tails) contain bendable wires, allowing for a wide range of posing possibilities for the head. The weighty metallic headpiece also conveys a strong, rigid visual effect. Accessories include a pair of light-up long and short lightsaber hilts, an additional pair of lightsaber hilts, two pairs of white lightsaber blades (in normal and motion effects), multiple interchangeable hands, and an "Ahsoka" series-themed display base.
▼ Compared to the DX series, the head sculpt's accuracy truly shows a significant difference!
