The popular alloy toy series 'METAL BUILD', issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, recently exhibited a prototype of its latest work, the "Gundam Dynames Repair", from 'Mobile Suit Gundam 00 the Movie -Awakening of the Trailblazer-', with a release date yet to be determined.
The GN-002RE Gundam Dynames Repair is a spare unit placed on Earth by the private armed organization "Celestial Being" during A.D. 2314 to avoid surveillance from the orbital elevator. This unit was repaired from the Gundam Dynames, which was severely damaged six years prior. The main body is largely unchanged, except for the waist's GN thrusters being doubled and the Solar Reactor being replaced with a GN Particle Storage Tank. The characteristic additional equipment on both shoulders, the "GN Full Shield", has been redesigned with a translucent material, enhancing its optical camouflage function.
The "METAL BUILD Gundam Dynames Repair" is a modification of the previously released "Gundam Dynames & GN Arms Type-D". Currently, the newly produced translucent "GN Full Shield" can be seen.
