Japan's Furyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), which operates various entertainment businesses, will release its latest product, the "Hitori Gotoh" 1/7 scale figure, under its high-quality figure brand "F:NEX," based on "Bocchi the Rock!" The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, with an estimated shipping date of August 2024.
"Bocchi the Rock!" (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく！), centered on the theme "If you're an introvert, go play rock," tells the story of "Hitori Gotoh," a high school girl with severe social anxiety and a school outcast. To gain attention from her classmates, she practiced guitar diligently from a young age, hoping to become a rock star! However, her gloomy personality and inability to interact well with others prevented her from forming a band. She could only transform into "Guitar Hero" and upload guitar videos online until she met Nijika from Shimokitazawa High. Together with Ryo, Ikuyo, and others, they formed the "Kessoku Band," where she serves as the lead guitarist. Her bandmates nicknamed her "Bocchi."
The "F:NEX Hitori Gotoh" 1/7 scale figure stands approximately 22 cm tall. Inspired by Bocchi's stage performance, she wears her classic pink tracksuit jacket and holds her guitar. Her slightly curled body and inward-pointing stance convey Bocchi's nervousness and discomfort, while her faint, awkward smile is also incredibly cute! Furthermore, to achieve the same texture as a real guitar, strong metallic finishes have been applied to details such as the tuning pegs and nut where the strings are wound. The guitar body features a glossy finish, and the pickguard has been given a semi-gloss coating, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail.
The black and white checkered base is equipped with numerous pieces of equipment, including effects pedals and a wah pedal, all meticulously sculpted! It also recreates the scattered cables on the floor during a live performance~
