Japan's Bushiroad Creative company's toy brand TAMA-KYU (たまきゅう) is set to release a hilarious new gashapon series in December 2023: "Mole ~Truths Beneath the Soil~" (tentative translation, モグラ ～土の中の真実～)!
The phrase "tip of the iceberg" is certainly familiar to all toy enthusiasts! But now, TAMA-KYU is here to reveal the shocking truths buried beneath the soil by seemingly cute moles! You thought they were round and adorable, covered in soft, fluffy fur? Wrong! They are practically permanent members of an underground gym, each one flexing like a bodybuilder preparing for a competition, striking pose after pose to show off their muscles, which is truly infuriatingly amusing (in a complimentary way); however, there's always an exception. This series features four super muscular moles and one mole wearing a soda cap and sporting a big belly. Upon closer inspection, the bag in its hand contains "Earthworm Chips" (ミミズ チップス), and the illustration is absolutely hilarious!
