Japanese toy and miscellaneous goods manufacturer T-ARTS (Takara Tomy Arts Co., Ltd.) has announced the first gashapon product in its new "SR+" series, "SR+ Spider-Man -Spider-Man's Daily Life-" (スパイダーマン -スパイダーマンの日常-)! It is scheduled for release starting February 2024.
SR+ (Super Real+) is a series of three-dimensional figures created based on 3D human body models that conform to the character's physique. Details such as muscle movement and human joints are fully considered during modeling, creating miniature figures that are closer to the character's body shape and more realistic. "Spider-Man," whose entire body is covered by a tight-fitting suit, is an excellent match for SR+. In this palm-sized 7-9 cm figure, we can appreciate the realistic human body lines and the well-developed muscle definition, which is further accentuated by the dynamic poses!
What's even more amazing is that this Spider-Man not only features combat poses but also everyday actions that fit his "friendly neighborhood" persona, including taking selfies, reading a newspaper, and eating. You can display them in various corners of your room, which feels incredibly fun! The price point is a bit higher at 500 JPY per capsule. Considering T-ARTS' consistently good quality performance with 400 JPY gashapon in recent years, there should be little to no concern about the quality of this SR+ Spider-Man!
