Following the release of several 1/6 scale collectible figures based on the popular MARVEL X-Men animated series "X-Men: The Animated Series," renowned poster design and toy company MONDO's latest character to join the lineup is Rogue! Pre-orders will open on MONDO's official website on February 20, 2024, at 12:00 PM (CST), with both a standard edition and a limited edition being released simultaneously, priced at US$210 and US$235 respectively.
Rogue is a mutant who can absorb others' abilities and even read memories through touch. Her powers first awakened when she kissed her first love, Cody. In "X-Men: The Animated Series," Rogue's abilities are often depicted as flight and superhuman strength. Furthermore, the scene from Season 1, Episode 4, where Rogue accidentally blasts uncontrolled lasers from her eyes after giving Cyclops mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, is also materialized in this figure through an interchangeable head sculpt.
This Rogue figure stands 11.75 inches (approximately 29 cm) tall. It faithfully recreates her yellow-green form-fitting battlesuit and military-green short jacket as seen in "X-Men: The Animated Series." The sculpted curves of her chest and the lines of her thighs are also very well done. Accessories include an interchangeable head sculpt with a gritted teeth expression, multiple gloved interchangeable hands, an interchangeable hand crushing a laser gun, an interchangeable hand absorbing energy, and more. The limited edition will include additional head sculpts featuring a winking expression, firing lasers, and an "X-MEN: EVOLUTION" appearance. It also comes with a damaged Sentinel robot head-shaped display base.
