We are proud to officially introduce Toy People's first collectible poster release of 2024: “TOY PEOPLE ATTACK!”, a high-quality print personally autographed by the author and master illustrator, Joe Simko!
About ten years ago, when Toy People was first founded, one of the initial proposals for an artist collaboration was to create a piece that could bring to life the fantastical world within every toy collector's heart.
"Every toy collector is the master of their own collection universe, able to recreate a magnificent multiverse in their mind through their toys."
This theme may seem simple, but executing it perfectly is incredibly difficult. It wasn't until we encountered the work of pop art illustration master Joe Simko that we found his imaginative and unrestrained creative style to be the perfect choice for this piece. Following our sincere invitation, he gladly accepted the challenge.
Through Joe's wild and untamed painting style, the artwork presents a mind-blowingly creative composition. A giant Toy Person appears to break through from another dimension, opening a collection box and startling a vibrant world of toys. Various toys flee in panic, with the scene containing numerous elements that pay homage to classic toys.
The piece is both colorful and subtly balanced, a testament to the master's unique creative technique. It blends a retro sci-fi style with a host of fantasy characters, bringing a wondrous, imaginary world to life before the eyes of every toy collector.
To replicate the powerful visual tension of the artwork, this piece is produced in a size close to A1, giving it a massive and unignorable presence. In terms of color representation, fluorescent pigments have been specially added to enhance saturation, perfectly reproducing the vibrant colors from the master's hand.
Each poster features a unique, authentic autograph from the artist, Joe Simko, along with a limited edition serial number. It is an absolutely unmissable treasure for every collector's secret base.
This work will be released in limited quantities. Starting today, we are opening lottery applications for purchase eligibility to collectors worldwide. Don't miss out!
