American toy brand MEZCO TOYZ's highly popular 1/12 scale articulated figure series "One:12 Collective" will exclusively release its latest Marvel Comics themed product – the "Ghost Rider & Hell Cycle" articulated figure set – on the renowned American toy website Big Bad Toy Store. The suggested retail price is US$250, with an estimated release in May 2024!
"Ghost Rider" first appeared in Marvel's 1972 anthology series "Marvel Spotlight" issue #5. The protagonist, Johnny Blaze, to protect his childhood sweetheart and father, made a pact with Mephisto, selling his soul. Every night, he transforms into a flaming skull engulfed in hellfire, carrying out Mephisto's missions. However, after completing his tasks, the kind-hearted Johnny decides to rise up against fate and put an end to Mephisto's atrocities.
This "Ghost Rider & Hell Cycle" BBTS Exclusive articulated figure set is inspired by Ghost Rider's original comic book appearance, faithfully recreating his full motorcycle gear, presented in blue-purple tones for the belted leather jumpsuit, gloves, and boots. The flaming skull features a flickering light-up effect, recreating the Penance Stare that can burn the souls of sinners. The Hell Cycle is painted in red, equipped with light-up headlights and engine acceleration sound effects, and combined with the front and rear wheel flame effects, it can showcase Ghost Rider's sense of speed as he races down the road! For accessories, the weapon chain comes with flame decorations, and flame effects that can be attached to Ghost Rider's hands are also included, allowing him to emanate that scorching heat from purgatory!
