To commemorate the 85th anniversary of Marvel Comics, renowned American toy manufacturer Hasbro's Marvel 6-inch action figure series "Marvel Legends" is launching a brand-new product: "The Cabal: Taskmaster / Iron Patriot / Doctor Doom 85th Anniversary Edition" 6-inch action figure set. With a suggested retail price of US$74.99, it is expected to be released in September 2024 and is currently available for exclusive pre-order on the official Amazon Marvel brand flagship store!
The Cabal, first appearing in "Secret Invasion" comic issue #8, is a secret society of supervillains and anti-heroes in Marvel Comics, serving as the adversaries to the Illuminati. Its members include fan-favorite antagonists such as Namor, Doctor Doom, "White Queen" Emma Frost, Loki, The Hood, and "Green Goblin" Norman Osborn, among others.
This 6-inch action figure set features three villainous characters: Taskmaster, Iron Patriot, and Doctor Doom. The Iron Patriot included here is not the familiar War Machine Rhodey, but rather Norman Osborn, clad in the Iron Patriot powered armor, Osborn being the first wielder of this armor. The product meticulously recreates the comic book appearances of all three characters and comes with multiple interchangeable parts and weapon accessories for collectors to enjoy. This release also finally brings collectors a Doctor Doom with a fabric cape, which is truly exciting!
