Japanese model company Kaiyodo's popular articulated figure series "AMAZING YAMAGUCHI" recently announced the revised re-release of the previously highly acclaimed characters "Deadpool" and "Deadpool X-Force Color Version." Both figures are priced at 13,200 JPY each and are now available for pre-order on Kaiyodo's official website, with an estimated release in April 2025!
Since AMAZING YAMAGUCHI first launched the "Deadpool Ver.1.0" in 2016, the "Deadpool Ver.2.0" version, re-released with new sculpts in 2021, improved the body's proportions. Recently, a "Ver.2.5" with further fine-tuned re-release has been announced. This version will be based on Ver.2.0, retaining popular accessories from Ver.1.0 like the heart-shaped eyes, and Ver.2.0 additions such as the smartphone, gun holster, knife sheath, and pen holder. New spherical bomb accessories will be included, and the previously released dynamite will now be presented stuck in a taco, highlighting Deadpool's irreverent style! Furthermore, the number of interchangeable hands has increased from the previous 10 to an astonishing 17. In addition to the hand gestures included in previous versions, the biggest highlight this time is the addition of "OK" and "heart" hand gestures, echoing Deadpool's playful poses in the movie promotional posters!
This time, the previously released gray and black X-Force (X-Force) costume version of Deadpool will also be upgraded to Ver.2.5. The accessories are the same as Deadpool Ver.2.5. Pre-orders through Kaiyodo's official direct sales channels will also include a bonus head sculpt with the mask partially lifted, adding even more playability!
