Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya's "ARTFX J" series, which creates exquisite three-dimensional works of Japanese anime and game characters, has officially announced the second product from the classic anime "Yu Yu Hakusho": the "ARTFX J Yu Yu Hakusho Kazuma Kuwabara Ver.2" 1/8 scale figure! The suggested retail price is 26,400 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in February 2025.
Kazuma Kuwabara, one of the four main characters in the Japanese manga "Yu Yu Hakusho," is a delinquent student at Sarayashiki Junior High, just like Yusuke. He is simple-minded, impulsive, and arrogant, yet incredibly kind, pure-hearted, and loyal. He would sacrifice everything to protect his loved ones, friends (and cats), a true man willing to lay down his life! In a world where others possess demon blood or are demons themselves, the pure human Kuwabara, through his powerful spiritual intuition, independently mastered the Spirit Sword, which condenses spiritual energy into a blade.
The "ARTFX J Yu Yu Hakusho Kazuma Kuwabara Ver.2" 1/8 scale figure stands approximately 25.4 cm tall. Based on his appearance from the "Dark Tournament Saga," it faithfully recreates Kuwabara in his super cool white tokkōfuku (special attack uniform). In addition to the characteristic "Health First" on his back, the bandages on his abdomen and muscle details on the front are meticulously sculpted! Compared to the previous version of Kuwabara, this figure boasts significant upgrades in pose and detail. Holding the clear effect Spirit Sword, he performs the cool "Dimensional Sword" move, with his uniform fluttering dynamically, showcasing his cool and imposing side during battle! His rugged yet human-like facial expression is also a major highlight.
Purchases at the Kotobukiya store include a bonus interchangeable head sculpt!
The other two companions will also be released sequentially.
