Boss Fight Studio, the American and European toy brand with numerous licensed IPs such as Popeye and The Little Prince, following their previous "Garfield / Odie / Nermal Action Figures", has once again announced a new "Garfield" themed product – the "Garfield" 1:1 Scale Character Figure. It has a suggested retail price of US$199.99 and is expected to be released in Q2 2025!
Garfield is a comic strip created by Jim Davis in 1978, featuring the amusing daily lives of the protagonist Garfield, his owner Jon Arbuckle, and their friends. It explores the theme that sometimes pets are actually the true masters of the house. Garfield's image – fond of lasagna, lazy, plump, and always scheming – is surely familiar to everyone!
This 1:1 scale Garfield character figure stands approximately 50.8 cm tall. It is crafted in Garfield's classic comic strip appearance. The entire figure is painted with a very even yellow flat coat and recreates the lines used in the comic to depict fur. From head to body to tail, the somewhat plump physique is faithfully reproduced, capturing him with his signature mischievous grin, squatting on the ground. From the images, it already exudes a substantial presence!
