BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd. Japan, has announced today the latest third installment of its Ultraman-themed Shokugan series, "Shodo Alpha Ultraman Kaiju," with the product "Shodo Alpha Ultraman Kaiju 3" scheduled for release in November 2024.
"Shodo Alpha Ultraman Kaiju" is a series of articulated kaiju Shokugan designed to complement the "Shodo Alpha Ultraman" figures. Some kaiju are modified from the previously released "SHODO Ultraman VS" series, while others feature entirely new parts. Standing at approximately 10 cm tall, these figures boast intricate sculpting and paintwork reminiscent of their on-screen suits, along with flexible articulation. When paired with Ultraman figures from the same series, they allow for a wide variety of battle scenes.

This third installment features four articulated kaiju figures: "Tyrant Monster Tyrant," a formidable foe from the Ultraman series who has repeatedly defeated the Ultra Brothers; "Alien Emperor," a malevolent alien who sought to eliminate the Ultra Brothers; "Alien Magma," who destroyed Ultraman Leo's home planet; and "Dimensional Alien Ace Killer," who nearly annihilated the Ultra Brothers in one fell swoop.
