Japan's MEDICOM TOY company, under its "RAH" (Real Action Heroes) large-scale action figure series, which features numerous Kamen Rider action figures, is set to release a new product for the 2023 "Kamen Rider Gotchard" theme—the "Kamen Rider Gotchard" action figure. The suggested retail price is 57,200 JPY, with an anticipated release in May 2025!
"Kamen Rider Gotchard" (仮面ライダーガッチャード) is the fifth Kamen Rider series of the Reiwa era, with a plot centered around cards and alchemy. The "Steamhopper Form" is Gotchard's basic form, achieved by inserting the Hopper 1 Ride Chemy Card and Steamliner Ride Chemy Card into the Gotchard Driver for transformation.
This "Kamen Rider Gotchard Steamhopper Form" action figure meticulously recreates the form's details at an impressive height of approximately 30 cm. The compound eyes on the head feature an LED light-up function, and the suit is crafted from highly durable synthetic leather to minimize wear and tear from play. The armor parts are finished with a pearlescent paint to capture the texture seen in the show, while the fabric scarf has wires hidden in its edges, allowing for dynamic posing adjustments!
The Gotchard Driver transformation belt can be displayed in both open and closed states using interchangeable parts. The intricate details of the Gotchard Gun weapon are also faithfully reproduced, and included Ride Chemy Cards can be combined for interactive play. Coupled with a metal base and stand, and utilizing the RAH 301 Kai body, collectors can pose Gotchard in a variety of cool and heroic stances!
