Japan's Megahouse toy company's "UA Monsters" series, known for its impressive size and light & sound effects, is releasing a new "Ultraman" themed product – "Zetton" (ゼットン). The suggested retail price is 33,000 JPY, with an estimated release in February 2025!
The "Space Dinosaur" Zetton first appeared in the final episode of "Ultraman," Episode 39, titled "Farewell, Ultraman." It was a monster weapon brought by the Zettonians to invade Earth, possessing composite abilities such as hardened steel-like skin, teleportation, and invisibility. Its power far surpassed Ultraman's, making it the first monster in history to successfully defeat Ultraman. Ultimately, the Science Patrol managed to defeat Zetton using their secret weapon, the "Gravity Bomb."
This UA Monsters Zetton stands approximately 43 cm tall. Under the supervision and collaboration of Tsuburaya LSS (Light Sculpture Studio), various sculptural details on Zetton's suit have been faithfully recreated, with paintwork reproducing the colors seen in the show. Accessories include a mini figure of a Zettonian and interchangeable hand parts, allowing for the recreation of its pose absorbing the Spacium Ray! The main body features light and sound effects; when switched on, its head and chest will illuminate and emit sounds. In On 2 mode, it will produce light effects accompanied by fireball sounds, recreating the appearance of firing its one-trillion-degree fireball!
