BANDAI SPIRITS' TAMASHII NATIONS collectors division in Japan has officially unveiled the latest addition to its CineToy TAMASHII line of action figures, inspired by popular film and TV properties. Today, the company announced sales information for the new "Peter B. Parker & Mayday Parker" Action Figure from the hit movie "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse"! This set will retail for 14,300 JPY, with pre-orders opening tomorrow and an estimated release in April 2025.
In 2018's "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," Peter B. Parker, along with other Spider-People, taught Miles the ropes of being Spider-Man. During this journey, a down-on-his-luck Peter found the courage to face his own life from Miles. In the sequel, "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," Peter B. Parker's life is back on track, and he makes his appearance in a dad-bod style, bringing along his daughter, Mayday Parker!
This Peter B. Parker figure stands approximately 17.5 cm tall, accurately sculpted to capture his slightly out-of-shape physique. The set includes a rich array of interchangeable parts and accessories, allowing collectors to recreate his looks from both "Into the Spider-Verse" and "Across the Spider-Verse." He comes with five sets of interchangeable hands, two Peter B. Parker head sculpts, three web effects, a dimension-hopping bracelet, alternate leg parts featuring socks and slippers, and a pink bathrobe made from real fabric. This comprehensive set perfectly showcases his laid-back demeanor as a seasoned Spider-Man!
Of course, another major highlight of this release is the Spider-Baby, Mayday Parker, who debuted in the second film! The figure itself stands approximately 5.5 cm tall and appears to feature simple articulation at the shoulders based on the official images. Her on-screen appearance is meticulously reproduced with detailed sculpting and paintwork, including the adorable detail of only wearing one sock! She comes with two head sculpts—a standard look and one wearing a Spider-Man beanie—and can be posed with her dad, Peter B. Parker, using the included baby carrier accessory. Imagine the heartwarming scene of her surrounded by all her Spider-aunts and uncles!
