To coincide with the grand "Black Rayquaza's Arrival" event held by the Pokémon official, the micro-building block 'nanoblock' series, launched by Japan's KAWADA Corporation (株式会社カワダ), has announced the release of a new shiny version product, the "Black Rayquaza Extreme DX Version," scheduled for release on November 30, 2024.

Rayquaza is a legendary Pokémon that appeared in the Hoenn region, possessing destructive power and strong territoriality. It typically inhabits the ozone layer, higher than the clouds, and can absorb energy from meteorites through a special organ within its body called the "Celestial Organ." Recently, due to the shiny version "Black Rayquaza" becoming a key Pokémon in the new anime series "Pokémon Horizons: The Series," as one of the Six Heroes Pokémon of the ancient adventurer Lucius, the official has been actively featuring this highly popular Pokémon in various places.

The "Black Rayquaza Extreme DX Version" is identical to the previously released regular version, boasting an impressive completed length of approximately 66 cm. Compared to standard-sized nanoblock models, it not only features a larger scale but also richer details and colors. Built from 1790 blocks, it meticulously recreates Rayquaza's characteristic massive mouth, red dorsal fins, and yellow ring patterns across its body. The mouth, arms, and each segment of the main body are equipped with articulation mechanisms, allowing for free posing and display. The display stand is designed in the shape of a "Master Ball," embodying the grandeur of a legendary Pokémon.
