Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE's Gundam series diorama model 'Realistic Model Series G Diorama Model' series announced the latest product from 'Mobile Suit Gundam', "Jaburo's Fall! (Molded Color Edition)", scheduled for release in July 2025.
The scene released this time is from the 29th episode of the original 'Mobile Suit Gundam', 'Jaburo's Fall!', depicting the "Battle of Jaburo" where the Principality of Zeon forces invaded the Earth Federation Forces' General Headquarters. In this massive underground base, transformed from a natural stalactite cave, Char led a commando unit to infiltrate and carry out a sabotage operation. While piloting his amphibious mobile suit, the "Char's Z'Gok," he encountered a mass-produced Gundam, the "GM," and famously punched through the GM's cockpit with its iron claw, creating an iconic scene.
"G Diorama Model: Jaburo's Fall! (Molded Color Edition)" is a modified version based on the previously released standard edition. With dimensions of approximately H160mm x W240mm x D145mm, it recreates the stalactite cave terrain of the Jaburo underground base, along with partially exposed metal roadways and pipelines. It is designed to accommodate 1/144 scale Gundam model kits, allowing for the recreation of the famous scene where Char's Z'Gok pierces the GM.
The difference is that all parts in this version are unpainted. The muddy yellow rock columns, gray metal, and clear colorless water flow are all in their original plastic molded colors. It also includes water-slide decals printed with various facility markings. This allows you to paint your Gunpla creations in your desired colors, and the price is also lower than the standard edition.
